A disappearing act.....Part 2....

......So, part two of our disappearing act........ whilst we were resting our souls in Glastonbury we took a trip out in our little van to some of the other local towns near by...........

........One of them was 'Wells'.................

.......This glorious town is full of wonderful architecture...............

...this place even has a moat.....

......plus, and this is quite amazing.....'the only complete street in the whole of Europe'......

....i cant remember the name of the street though ....sorry.....

....all these little houses were just so pretty.....i bet they are gorgeous inside......

.......then, after a lovely meal in the evening and good nights sleep back in Glastonbury, we went to
one of my favourite places......'Bath'......

......It is a breath taking place to be....the Georgian architecture everywhere is astounding.......

.....the city is immense, and i think we probably walked every street......one little street had a very special little shop in it, that quite often has an advert in the' Mollie makes' magazine.........so off course i had to go in and have a root through all the yummy stuff......

....The Makery....
......packed to the rafters with crafty goodness......i think i was in there ages......i bought myself some beautiful wooden buttons......

......Note to self.....when taking photos always make sure not to include the litter bin in the final shot......doh

......so there you are, that was our  trip round Bath.. i should of taken more pictures but i was so engrossed in my surroundings that i just forgot to keep snapping......

......When we left Glastonbury and it was time to return home, we thought seeing as we had been in the isle of 'Avalon' it would probably be fitting to drop in to see 'king Arthurs round table' at Winchester......

......So we did.....

.....Farewell Glastonbury, oh i shall miss you, but i shall return again to you one day......

....x Pixie x....

  1. That comment about the litter bin made me laugh out loud. It is just what I would do, sometimes I think I take photos with my eyes shut.

  4. Lovely photos! That darling little street of old cottages is Vicars close. Apparently it's been used for a lot of period films. Did you ever see the movie "Hot Fuzz"? it was filmed in Wells. If you get the chance another time you might be interested to have a look in St Cuthberts church, it has a painted wooden ceiling.

  12. Oh hon, I am sitting here with the rain pouring down on my roof so it has been an utter pleasure to look at your beautiful photos in beautiful weather. I am beyond jealous that you got to visit that fabulous store - I have ogled at it in Mollie Makes and wished I could visit!! Bath looks amazing - definitely on my 'one day' list. You really had a fabulous time didn't you. Well deserved lovey.

We are on the countdown to school holidays which will be nice, two weeks of no rushing in the mornings. Mr 7 becomes Mr 8 next week and my baby Miss 5 pulled out her first tooth this evening. I'm usually a pretty tough cookie but that one little tooth has made me so emotional!! She's not little anymore.

Have a truly fab week hon. See you again soon.
