....Japanese crochet books.....

....I have been waiting longingly for this to arrive, it is in fact one of two that i have ordered and i am still waiting for the other to turn up but have a look at this for a crochet pattern book.......its wonderful.............

.....lovely isn't it..... everything in the book is written in Japanese but it doesn't matter because at the back of the book they give you all the patterns, so as long as you can read a pattern its fine.
....If you want to order these lovely books there are quite literally hundreds to choose from on Etsy, i got mine from here.....but there are many other sellers that do these books also.....

  1. Hello, great blog you've got! That book looks great, it's always good to get nice stuff in the post. I'm not surprised Bix has pinched that cushion it looks wonderful and very soft, cats are great at finding the best spots :-)

  2. I would love that book simply to gaze at those gorgeous photos! I need to stay focused on knitting right now, but may take a peek on Etsy for the book you're showing here. I'm knitting some socks (the yarn looked better in a ball than as a sock, so not too enthused). And then it's on to the fawncho. I also have started another pair of the robin writies (owl in the dark). Those knit fast and would make great gifts for Christmas..... I can't believe I just said "Christmas"! It's 95 degrees here every day!!! Whenever I hook something new, if it's on the floor, chair, or couch, Iris and Willow (my kitties) make it their own. Removing cat hair is a constant job... Have a wonderful day!

  4. Hi Pixie! Just dropping by to tell you I popped in on the Etsy site you refer to here. Wow! Great selection of books..... I'm wondering if the knit patterns are something one could follow. The covers on many of them are so intriguing!
