....to you all, my dear bloggy friends.....some of you only up the road and some of you way way way over an ocean...
....Huggy hugs and pixie sprinkles to you all....
....I love New year....can you tell, i love a fresh new start, i have to say that i have always felt that Christmas (winter solstice) is a bit of a gloomy time, the last knockins of the year, and every thing seems all a little bit tired and flagging, i mean don't get me wrong there is a wee bit bit of sparkle and glow at yule time, but give me New year any time.....
....And for the first time in about fifteen years i am staying in in my p.js and watching crap on the telly....this suites me just fine, Mr pixie i think was a bit miffed at my bah humbug at not going out so he went out on his own with the understanding that he has to be back by midnight to give me a kiss....
....So i thought with this quickety quick happ happ happy post i shall simply show you the assortment of hand made pressies that i made for various members of my little family this Chrimbo.....
....Here goes....
....Of course you probably remember these two little chaps that i made for my Grand children Lily and Oscar.......they were delighted....
.....so incredibly simple to make, simple garter stitch all the way......
....then of course the super chunky nighty night socks, also for Sam who has worn them non stop too....
.....long long legged sock monkeys, one each for the boys....
....Crocheted bunting, that i have to say,i really wanted to keep for myself as i was just so happy with how it came out, i made up the pattern myself and new that i wanted to give these to my daughter inlaw Samantha, i am most DEFINITELY going to make some more, i think i may even put some in my little 'nook shop'....
....then i made some pretty crocheted hangers for the grand mothers, who were most pleased too....
....i love crocheted hangers and my cupboard is full of them, they make all your outfits look so special....
....remember the wristies i made back at the start of Autumn, well these went to my daughter inlaw too....
.....well there you go, a little gallery of crafte nook makes, I'm sure there was some other things but i cant remember what they were now, it all now seems ages ago.....
.....I have some more things in the making at the moment, but more off that later on, i shall just leave you with a wee snippet....
....Pixie....
