.....An exchange was made....between two bloggy friends, one from snowy cold old blighty and the other the heat soaked country of Australia......

...Our little presents passed each other in flight across an ocean, waved to each other and continued on there destination......

....Mine to Trudy, a 'Pocket watch brooch', telling the time of her favourite time of day......

.....I cant say i blame them, yes it is horrendous weather here, as you've probably noticed from everybody Else's blogs, the entire of England is covered in a very cold blanket of the white stuff, and for one minute last night i thought we would get away with it down here in the farthest corner of our island, but no....when i looked out the window this morning it did actually look like the end of the world....

.....So just like Bix and Molly we are staying put....i am going to light the fire in a minute and put the kettle on for the millionth time today......see you soon, stay warm Pixie xx

....Is it time for tea yet ?.....

....Another little ( or rather big i should say ) watch brooch, but slightly different this time, as this one is rather large......as you can see....

....its a great big brooch with an embroidered spoon shape underneath it with 'put the kettle on' stitched onto it....

.....its all a bit fun....

.....

....plus a nice big kilt pin to attach...

......plus a couple of new little watch brooches to add to my 'little nook' shop....these one are a bit simpler....

....more lovely 'Cabbages and roses' material used...

....And a wee bit of crocheting....its been ages since i picked up my hook and i had a few odd balls of cotton yarn sitting around which i haven't really known what use to put them too, until i had a light bulb moment the other day.........

.....i know what i can make.....

.....some new flannels for the bathroom....

......these are just so easy to make, and a brilliant gift for someone....

...Hello friends....

.....So i have gone to Google chrome to try and do a post for you, most other people who are having the same trouble as me seem to be doing this and so far its working.......fingers crossed...

.....So anyway, whats been happening,,  well......

....I Managed to get the horrible lurgy thingy..yuk...i still feel a bit deflated and not myself but that's normal i know after a bout of the ickies ,, and to think i was doing so well and staying clear of all the horrible bugs, oh well, i guess i couldn't hide from it in the end....

....never mind, feeling a whole lot better than i did....

....So my friends i have some new goodies in my little 'Nook shop' ( as you probably know ) so  if you want go and take a peeky, i have had 'Time' on my mind a lot of late, and i think nothing better than to 'stop time' once in a while, to hold those moments 'in time' for a while so as to enjoy them more.....so my watch brooches have the one time stitched upon there faces, 'suspended in time' if you like.......

....Its the one thing we don't have enough of.....'Time'.......never enough hours in a day, and moments gone in a flash and faded to a memory all too quickly.........so lets 'Stop Time'....

....Yes my friends there are blogger issues yet again,, and this time blogger cant upload any images so the pictures that i wanted to share with you of my new makes i now cant....grrrrr...

....Tis quiet at the nook.....

....Which i am really enjoying after all the yule tide shenanigans......

 

....So getting back to normality works for me, i have to go back to work tomorrow which is always difficult when you haven't had to get up at any particular time for a week, then suddenly you have to haul yourself out of bed in the dark at 6 am and fish out your uniform and off we go again......

 

....but yes' i think quietly i am relieved to be getting back to that normality again........just new years eve to get through, then off we go again for another year.

 

.....So today...just during this quiet time i have been quietly making some recycled home made envelopes......these i am hoping to use for my new little bits and bobs that i shall be putting in my Etsy shop any day now......

 

......So for now dear readers i am just cutting and gluing away contently by the fire......

 

 

...there very addictive to make.....i cant seem to stop....

 

 

 

.....I wish you all a Happy new year.....and i shall see you all again in 2013.....
..( i wonder what we will all be crafting in the next coming year )...
