....I'm still here.....

.....Yes I'm still sitting here in a quandary.....i still don't know what to do.......

......just sittin' here quietly stitching pocket watches, and quietly stitching flowers, and quietly crocheting away, and quietly annoyed by the whole thing.....

.....Do you know that google want me to pay nearly three dollars a month for some extra space, is that right ?....it works out about thirty quid a year.........that cant be right, can it?.....

.....Anyway, i shall keep you all posted, i wanted to show you my Christmas fabric wreath that i have made but it looks like that's going to have to wait a bit while i figure out what to do......

........so cheerio for now......

  1. It seems that after a certain space is used Google begin to charge. I can't remember that being in the fine print, but then perhaps I did not read it. Would be a terrible shame to lose you! I'm making a grand effort to sell enough things on Etsy to pay for our fees so that we can continue to blog. Would love to see your Christmas wreath! x

  3. Hello Pixie!

I haven't experienced this "yet". I'm missing seeing your lovely work, but for something that's been free all this time... that's quit a sudden hit! I've been blogging pretty regularly for almost 6 or so years, and haven't heard a word. I haven't noticed if you have, but why don't you start putting all your new creations on pinterest. At least I can see what you're doing and comment. Also, I think you've probably already tried this, but what if you dumped a bunch of old stuff from your blog.... or..... what if you shut it down and opened a new one?! It might be worth a try.

Good luck and keep us informed.

  4. This happened to me so I set up a flickr account! I've learned to size my pictures down now before I upload them!

  5. Pixie, I love your pinterest boards... gorgeous.
I thought about starting a new blog, not really sure what to do. I'll try reducing the size of my photos like people have said and see if that works. If it works, or whatever I do I will tell you. I'm not very technical you know!x

  7. I had this problem so just went into my pictures on Picasso and deleted all the old ones I thought I could do without - I doubt anyone has time to search back over my blog at all my posts, so it seemed like the best way to deal with it.

  9. Oh this is a dilema Pixie, when people talk about picasso and downsizing photos I am afraid it is all gobbledegook to me so I am no help whatsoever! jayne x

  10. This is so annoying for you. I haven't struck that problem (yet). I don't use picassa. I edit in my pictures and always compress photos before I post.
You've got to think there must be a simple, free solution
