.....Stillness.....

.....Hello my dearest bloggy friends......
.....For the time being i shall be in a state of stillness.....

.....Our little family has had an unexpected devastating loss......so stillness is needed....

.....I shall still be here, checking in on your blogs, but not much will be happening here for a little bit.....

.....War never solves a damn thing.....

....Stitchin', stitchin', stitchin'.....

.....I picked up some new pieces of vintage fabric on Tuesday this week to add to my 'wear something crafty' stash.........................well, ,probably not so much the piece with houses on it, it just caught my eye and i new i just had to have a piece of it......not sure what i am going to do with it yet though.......
anyway.....lovely scrummy fabric.......

......i then picked up an old slip from a charity shop for a few pennies......

.....i now have a new more pixiefied slip to wear underneath my dresses and skirts......

....its too nice to hide underneath my dress,, so i shall wear it on show......

.....i just love it....i have another slip in dark blue to pixiefy too......

......also, i made myself a Suffolk puff bracelet to wear.........its had lots of interest from other people....i may have to make some more off these.........lovely and quick to make,.i made it in an evening.......

.....plus.....whilst i was out picking up bits of scrummy fabric and rooting through charity shops i found some old hangers in a junk shop................just perfect for hanging my 'wear something crafty' clothes on......

.......i hope your all having a wonderful weekend, and the sun is shining,,,finally the big yellow ball has shown itself to our rather soaked country and its been such a relief to soak up some rays today......

.....I forgot to tell you.....

.....i cant believe that i actually forgot to mention that my little 'Scrap Sally dolls' are now for sale in a really spiffy shop called ''Handmade happiness'',, there is a link to the shop over on the right hand side so do go and have a look at Jenny's amazing shop... its so exciting to have my little dolls in a shop, sitting along side other very talented crafters.......so if your around 'Hampshire' way do go and gave a lookie......

.....Oh,,Ive just spotted those two little birds over on the left, how cute are they....

......Jenny, who owns the shop is a very clever doll maker too, that is one of hers standing in the front with the lovely flowery dress on........

.....what else have i forgotten to tell you.......oh yes......

......the hexi puff seat pad is very slowly taking shape, i have slacked of from knitting any puffs for a while as other things have grabbed my attention, but here it is at the moment....none are stitched together as yet.....

.....hmmmmm,, still along way from the end, i think this is going to be one of those projects that is going to take an age to finish, one of those ones that you pick up from time to time as the mood takes you.........still, I'm in no rush to finish it......................in fact,, i have been missing my crochet of late and have been thinking about big blankets again,, Goodness....i cant start something else..........though i know i will.........x

....Just a simple day of......

.....Removing sleeves from a much loved old dress and then removing the puff out of them and stitching them back on..........phew,, what a job, but much better now........

.....and then...

......dyeing a plain white shirt green and stitching on mismatched buttons......

....just a simple day...

.....My creative space.........

.....I was sat in my little creative cubby hole late the other night, ( i think Mr P was having a swift half down at our local drinking hole,) and whilst i was sat amidst the haven of creative mayhem that is my craft space, with my little work light on,, i thought i would take a couple of pictures of it...................................
would you like to see it.......................................brace yourself.

....floor to ceiling mayhem!...though i do actually know where everything is.....

.....it looks kinda cosy doesn't it, i do quite like just sitting up here with a mug of tea and just thinking......its a good place for thinking........

....i should have a really good sort out, but i know it would be a complete waste of time as i just cant throw any potential craft nic nac away......

....oh look theres Molly,, i don't remember her being there...!

....i took this picture the next morning so can see the mayhem in daylight.......not sure now if that was such a good idea.......

.....So there you go, a little look at my creative space,, i think i may craft myself a little sign to hang on the door warning people before entry of what they may see. I have seen other blog sites creative spaces and all theres seem to be a light filled den of total order and everything in boxes or labelled and all stacked up beautifully.....................you wont find anything like that here, no siree,,,

......I love my little creative mayhem.....
